2022 Webinar - Taking Actuarial Banking to the World - March 31

We will be discussing how actuaries have been involved in banking in the UK and South Africa. We will also be discussing possible roles within banking for actuaries globally. We will then provide more information on educational opportunities to actuarial associates in different member associations.

Learning Objectives:

1. Share the growth in employment and career opportunities for actuarial graduates within banks and fintechs.
2. Encourage actuarial graduates and actuaries to consider career shifts to banks and use the opportunities to have a greater impact on financial services.
3. Make the attendees aware of the formal and informal education options; both pre- and post-qualification.
4. Encouraging CAS to expand its support of members who are considering (or already working in) banking careers.
5. Extend the support of ASSA, IFoA and IAA in furthering these efforts.
