What should every actuary know about doing work outside of the
United States? We'll review the Actuarial Code of Conduct, and give an overview
of the International Actuarial Association (IAA). We will also go through a
couple of examples of International Work to figure out what Actuarial Standards
of Practice may apply!
When the CAS has a Global focus - all CAS members should have some basic
knowledge of what Professionalism means internationally.
Learning Objectives:
- Learn about how the International Actuarial Association (IAA) applies to Casualty Actuaries.
- Understand what Professionalism requirements apply when doing international work.
- Apply the Code of Conduct when doing international work.
