This session will feature three short discussions on Industry issues in the format of TED talks. What are TED talks? They are sessions that short enough to hold people's attention, but precise enough to be taken seriously. We have assembled a group of Industry pioneers who will be talking about their experiences.
Three topics planned for this session will be:

1. Going from an idea/concept to raising capital to ultimately launching a viable product in the insurance space.
2. Defining blockchain. Some say it’s as revolutionary as the internet in the way it may change the way we do business.
3. Discussing the latest trends in our sharing economy, such as the emergence of Uber, and the impact on risk management and insurance.
