Optimizing Feline
Samples for Quality Results
This webinar will
focus on optimizing sample submissions to reference laboratories for
urinalysis, parasitology, microbiology, cytology, and histopathology to maximize
the accuracy and effectiveness of diagnostic testing.
OBJECTIVES
• Understand how best to submit various samples to a reference diagnostic laboratory, such as blood, urine, feces, cytology and biopsy samples, and samples for culture, and understand the limitations of inadequate or poorly prepared samples.
• Gain skills in techniques of sample preparation.
• Be able to adapt sample collection to the unique characteristics
of a patient and/or the disease, and how in-clinic diagnostic testing
complements reference lab testing.
