Avoiding CATastrophe in Feline Anesthesia: Anesthesia Pearls from an Expert
When it comes to anesthesia, cats are not small dogs. In this one-hour webinar, veterinary anesthesiologist, Dr. Rebecca Salazar will discuss the continuum of care in feline anesthesia and offer pearls for general practitioners when anesthetizing cats with multiple co-morbidities.

• The benefit of anxiolytics to feline patients prior to any hospital event, including anesthesia, is important in mitigating fear, anxiety, and stress.
• Having a variety of anxiolytics and anesthetic medications allows for a tailored approach to anesthesia while maintaining anesthetic safety.
• Anesthetic monitoring and response plan protocols are critical to favorable anesthetic outcomes.
