Participants will gain insight into social and cultural factors case managers must keep top of mind as patient advocates and case management professionals.

Learning Outcomes:

  1. Describe two cultural or population trends on the rise;
  2. Identify three potential barriers to optimal health achievement that may be overcome by applying cultural awareness and competency; and
  3. Discuss steps an organization can take to assess and plan for cultural awareness and care for those in need.
