Healthcare professionals are some of the more stressed-out groups of workers, learning how to properly vent and process stress is critical for any case manager. Stress negatively affects health when not dealt with timely and appropriately. In this session, learners will learn how recapturing wisdom from childhood to help reignite passion, turn stress into laughter, and get more done while having more fun. Witty observations, humorous anecdotes and real-world techniques will entertain and inspire you to live a richer, more balanced life.

Learning Outcomes:

  1. Discuss tools to identify hidden limitations that might be holding you back
  2. Outline how unrelieved stress can lead to burnout, while rechanneled energy can reclaim the passion for doing your best work; and
  3. Describe three ways you can shift their perspective to foster creativity.

The Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC) is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
