Vatican II is one of the great spiritual treasures of the Church. This spirituality course will point out some of the gems that lay people are called to apply through a deeper understanding of lay life and of the Church. Beginning with some of the high points of the Constitution on the Church and then moving on to the Decree on the Laity and the Constitution on the Church in the Modern World, this course will identify and explain the elements of lay spirituality fitting for contemporary times addressed by the Council Fathers. Furthermore, these will be considered in light of the call to holiness and official Church teaching.
