A joint webinar by the USCCB, CHA and the U.S. Catholic Sisters Against Human Trafficking
This 60-minute webinar will focus on the impact of the pandemic on identifying, assisting and overall efforts to eradicate human trafficking. Presenters from various Catholic ministries will share how they’ve had to make adjustments and pivot through the various stages and phases of the pandemic amidst a change in administrations. Specifically, topics to be addressed include:
- Religious congregations’ continued work across Catholic organizations and national and community groups to collaborate on activities to prevent human trafficking in all its forms
- Adjustments made by the broader church to prevent human trafficking during the pandemic period.
- Health care’s pivot amidst the stresses of the pandemic to be able to provide trauma-informed care and assistance
- Policy updates related to trafficking
