This CHA webinar highlights how the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Office of Minority Health is working to eliminate health disparities and improve the health of all minority populations. Dr. Cara James, director of the CMS Office of Minority Health and co-chair of the CMS Rural Health Council, will describe CMS' three-pronged approach to achieving health equity through increased understanding, sustainable solutions and collective action. A nationally recognized expert in health disparities, health equity and improving health outcomes for vulnerable populations, Dr. James will share with us various resources to help communities, patients and clinicians better identify, understand and address health disparities.
