Webinar Series: Bridging Identity & Inclusivity to Create Health Equity | Session 2 - An Inclusive Catholic Tension: Principles and Strategies

Presented on February 9, 2021
We are called to build true health equity. In the face of COVID-19 testing, treatment, and vaccine distribution, and as a part of our ongoing work to end systemic racism, we must look internally and externally.

This four-event webinar series will look at Catholic identity, other faith traditions, unconscious bias and discrimination in caregiver interactions and share best practices happening now to create opportunities for participants to gain inspiration and information. Working together, we can improve Catholic health care, build right and just relationships with our communities and advocate for change to end health disparities and systemic racism.

This 90-minute webinar will explore how Catholic health care organizations with theologically grounded Missions, Visions and Values include ecumenical, inter-faith and secular leaders and associates. There is a need to articulate principles and strategies that honor Catholic identity while at the same time welcoming, respecting and celebrating a diverse workforce.
