We are called to build true health equity. In the face of COVID-19 testing, treatment, and vaccine distribution, and as a part of our ongoing work to end systemic racism, we must look internally and externally.
This four-event webinar series will look at Catholic identity, other faith traditions, unconscious bias and discrimination in caregiver interactions and share best practices happening now to create opportunities for participants to gain inspiration and information. Working together, we can improve Catholic health care, build right and just relationships with our communities and advocate for change to end health disparities and systemic racism.
This 90-minute webinar will highlight CHA's anti-racism pledge and discuss the complexities of addressing inequity, bias and racism among caregivers, patients or residents, family members and the communities being served. Unconscious bias, discrimination and systemic racism often play a role and present health care organizations with opportunities to learn how best to work with associates, patients, residents and families to realize health equity and racial justice.
