Primary care is sometimes viewed as the neglected stepchild of medicine. This webinar will discuss ways in which a strong primary care base is necessary for an effective, efficient health care system. Patients who have a primary care physician often experience improved health outcomes which can maximize the value of health care spending. Although changing models of physician payment are intended to promote and reward high quality care, they may be viewed as burdensome by physicians.
