Mission integration continues to evolve into all aspects of health care delivery. While mission leaders were originally used in acute care settings, they now can be found in non-acute and long-term care organizations. This one-hour webinar is designed specifically for mission leaders and other leaders who minister in Catholic long-term care facilities. The presentation will begin with the history of the professionalization of mission leaders in general and the development of the CHA Mission Leader Competency Model. Then, the roles and responsibilities of mission leaders who minister in long-term care settings will be described. Finally, we will explore the emerging issues and areas that mission leaders in long-term care setting need to attend to.
