POLST (Physician Orders for Life-Sustaining Treatment) continues to gain popularity across the country with more and more states passing legislation to give it legal status. Some individuals and organizations, however, are raising concerns about POLST related to implementation and consistency with the Catholic ethical and theological tradition. This webinar considers why POLST is a clinically desirable development, possible challenges in the use of POLST, and theological/ethical issues.
