    David Trosin is the Managing Director of NSF International’s health sciences certification program. He has nearly 30 years of industry experience, including over a decade of expertise in dietary and sports supplements. David leads a team whose focus is providing companies the most current and credible auditing, testing, certification and, separately, training services available to the dietary supplement, functional food, beverage, cosmetics and OTC drug industries. Through his work at NSF, he has helped hundreds of companies achieve their safety and quality goals, gain access to retailers and professional sports organizations and cultivate trust among consumers.

  • Mahya Wood

    Mahya Wood has been with NSF International in Ann Arbor, Michigan, since 2003. She received her Master’s degree in Natural Resource and Ecosystem Management from the University of Michigan and her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Illinois. At NSF, she served as an analytical chemist specializing in High-Performance Liquid Chromatography and a toxicologist performing hazard assessments under NSF’s Green Chemistry program. As Program Manager for NSF’s dietary supplement and cosmetics consulting and training team, Mahya leverages her institutional knowledge of NSF’s offerings to match companies around the globe with the best consultant to help them mitigate risk and achieve their process improvement and larger strategic goals.
