International Health Serves to train healthcare professionals on the different aspects of patient safety, pharmacology, diseases, and vaccinations confronted in underdeveloped countries throughout the world when providing medical and dental relief. Providing appropriate medical, surgical, and dental relief across cultural boundaries requires training in traditional and non-traditional diseases, ethics, pharmaceuticals, dentistry, and cultural diversity compared Western beliefs about disease. Education on leadership and management of a team of practitioners from distinct backgrounds in an unconventional practice setting is necessary.
