Writer's Workshop

This 5-part Writer’s Workshop aims to cultivate new writers and encourage hesitant writers to take the first step towards sharing their talents with others. Each session builds on the last, providing confidence and growth with each lesson. Participants will be encouraged to write and share material based on the information presented as they move through writing fundamentals, blogging, workplace writing, and writing for professional publications. The series will end with a roundtable discussion with industry experts and the chance to have their work published in CMSA Today magazine.  Upon completing all 5 parts, you will be able to access your CE certificate, as well as access a link to for a blog submission on CMSA's website. 

OBJECTIVES:
  1. Develop the confidence and writing skills necessary to excel both in the workplace and in the professional literary space.
  2. Compare the types of writing presented, describe the differences, and identify your personal strengths and areas to improve.
  3. Review the techniques learned throughout the course to compose a blog submission to be reviewed by the presenters and used on CMSA.org.

CONTINUING EDUCATION:
COMPLETE PARTS 1 - 5 of this course and earn 5 hours RN and CCM credits.
You must fully view the video associated with each Part, evaluate each Part, then complete the Final Evaluation. 

BLOG POST
UPON COMPLETION OF THE COURSE, YOU WILL BE INVITED TO SUBMIT A BLOG POST.  A link with details will be provided as a final step following the access to  your CE Certificate.  This link will share details on how to submit a desired content deadline and a few writing tips!
