In this first of three on-demand videos faculty will provide an overview of securitization followed by a description of the transaction process. A breakdown of the transaction timeline from the initial pool formation to the closing of securities and everything in between will be reviewed. Follow the money from the borrower to the investors and review the various CMBS transaction types. Speakers will provide an overview of all the players in the game when it comes to participants in securitization (borrowers, originators, investment banks, etc). They will then take a deep dive into the role of the Primary Servicer and review legal documents such as the Pooling and Servicing Agreement (PSA).
