Description

About This Program

The building envelope has changed drastically and there are now more systems and manufacturers coming together than ever before. As compatibility issues arise, our products offer problem solving solutions and allow an easy, compatible transition from one material to another. Our flashings and transition membranes enhance the building envelope by focusing on sustainable materials that are affordable and last the life of the building to give the industry products that match the test of time.

Session Takeaways

  • Understand how to design a resilient and durable flashing system that will minimize labor and life cycle costs
  • Explain the performance criteria used to specify through-wall flashings and transition membranes
  • Understand compatibility considerations between York’s materials and neighboring wall components
  • Provide an explanation of the installation challenges and solutions of various flashings and transitions
