The Application of the New AWI ANSI Standards and the Quality Certification Program

About This Program

The Architectural Woodwork Institute (AWI) is the ANSI accredited Standards Development Organization for Interior architectural millwork. While many are familiar with the previous AWI Standards, the Architectural Woodwork Standard, the newly published ANSI/AWI standards are a departure from the previous standards allowing for more innovation. This requires new ways of specifying to take advantage of what the standards offer along with how the Quality Certification Program can provide the assurance and confidence in a successful interior millwork project.
