Description

About This Program

Attendees will learn about solar air heating and drying with the use of a transpired solar collector metal wall panel system. Energy efficiency and carbon reduction can be achieved with the use of a solar collector. A variety of projects and applications will be highlighted in the presentation.

Session Takeaways

  • Understand solar air heating principles and how they contribute to a sustainable building
  • Explain how energy efficient transpired solar collectors function and the design considerations
  • Learn how outside ventilation air is preheated and brought into a building, improving indoor air quality
  • Realize the carbon-reduction of a building with the use of transpired solar collectors
