About This Program

Learners will gain information on polished concrete. We will go into detail on new projects as well as restoration. We will cover job considerations, importance of expectations and communication. We will also cover green building initiatives and how polished concrete fits.

  • Identify flooring job types and considerations required when specifying for each.
  • Be able to plan and implement a mockup as part of the project to validate that specifications meet expected outcomes.

    Nick Savage has been in concrete flooring industry for 20 years. The first 6 years spent with SASE Company providing equipment and tooling support. The past 14 years with Prosoco under numerous roles, most recently the BU Leader for the Concrete Flooring Group. For the majority of that time, he has worked with architects, contractors, and distributors on finished concrete flooring projects. He has been involved in high profile projects for The Ohio State University, University of Chicago, the Chicago Old Main Post Office, Google, Amazon, Facebook, Ford, GM, and Navy Pier. Nick is a member of ASCC/CPC, ICRI, CSI, and ACI.
