    Kate Sweeney is the HHS Section 508 Program Director. She has over has over 12+ years’ experience in enterprise governance, policy, and process improvement across the federal government. She as an Advanced Certified Scrum Master and Lean Six Sigma practitioner, she has led the HHS Section 508 program through an extensive program maturity effort in hopes of establishing an HHS Accessibility Center of Excellence. She has held the role of HHS Section 508 Program Director since 2019, previously serving as the Office of the Secretary (OS) Section 508 Program Manager.

  • Jonathan Avila, Chief Accessibility Officer at LevelAccess

    Guide digital accessibility implementation, knowledge transfer, and solutions across Level Access and to fortune 500 organizations, US Federal government, and educational organizations.

  • Eduardo Meza-Etienne, Principal Accessibility SME Level Access

    Eduardo, a brain injury survivor, has been involved in the accessibility and disabilities field for over 20 years assisting numerous government agencies and Fortune 500 companies to become more inclusive.
    He is a skilled technologist, specializing in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility (DEIA) matters; particularly on international accessibility trends, assistive technologies, and legal mandates. Eduardo has served on the Board of Directors of Disability:IN DC Metro since 2009 and is currently their Accessibility Chair. He is a Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies by the International Association of Accessibility Professionals and is Principal Accessibility SME at Level Access.
    He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics, a Master of Science in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a Master’s degree in International Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management in Glendale, AZ. He lives with his wife and two daughters in Frederick County Maryland.

  • Chas Steinmetz, Senior Vice President of Digital Accessibility, PNC

    Chas is responsible for creating the technology, governance and culture at PNC that promotes digital experiences accessible to all. This includes assistive technology, accessibility testing tools, governance frameworks, coaching and education.

  • Gautam Rao, Global Digital Accessibility Leader, EY

     Gautam is responsible for the firm’s accessibility strategy including policy, methodology, procurement, awareness, and training. He is a certified expert (CPACC, WAS) in digital accessibility and has 20+ years in product development, UX design, usability, and accessibility. He established and currently leads the EY Accessibility Center of Excellence (ACE), providing accessibility services for internal and external clients. He collaborates with enterprise functions including Technology, Procurement, Marketing & Comms, Talent, DEI, Learning, and Legal to drive accessibility adoption across the firm. He is an active member of EY’s disability employee group and is responsible for raising accessibility awareness across the firm.
