Science Techbook Experience for the California fully supports the instructional shifts required by the CA NGSS standards and embraces the philosophy of three-dimensional teaching and learning. In addition to content written to directly support NGSS, Science Techbook reflects the interplay of the Science and Engineering Practices (SEPs), Disciplinary Core Ideas (DCI) and Cross-Cutting Concepts (CCC) and outlines what these mean in practice for educators. Anchor and investigative phenomena, brought to life with dynamic multimedia, are used as catalysts for student-activated investigations and trigger students’ natural sense of curiosity.

This course will take approximately 30 minutes to complete. To receive full credit, spend an additional 30 minutes in Discovery Education trying out your new learning!
