EBA Energy Law Academy Course 107: Energy Trading

In this course, energy lawyers will learn the fundamentals of energy trading. Our faculty will introduce participants to the purposes and benefits of trading, basic concepts in trading, the energy products that are commonly traded, and the markets in which they are traded.

Our faculty will discuss how trades are documented, and who the major trading platforms are and how they operate.

Finally, we will provide a more detailed discussion of trading in natural gas, oil, and electricity.
