EMDR EARLY INTERVENTION SERIES PRESENTATION
EMDR Early Interventions are effective mental health protocols and techniques to support those affected by the devastating impact of trauma on individuals, groups, and communities. The global situation with many suffering from fires, earthquakes, war, political and personal violence, and loss emphasizes the need for more discussion and learning about these interventions. This session will highlight the role and importance of EMDR Early interventions, their opportunities, and their current and future applications. It will include a discussion about their unique components featuring a panel of experts who have used EMDR Early Interventions extensively and are pioneers in their applications worldwide. It is a call to action for the therapists to equip themselves with interventions to support those in crises that can be used in different settings. It will advocate for culturally sensitive interventions to provide support, stabilization, and mental health first aid.
