Safe and Effective Prescribing of Controlled Substances 2020

This is a three (3)-hour continuing education course on Safe and Effective Prescribing of Controlled Substances and is required prior to EVERY license renewal for ALL prescribing PAs in the state of Florida.
Offered by Physicians for PA Continuing Education, PPACE, this activity has been reviewed by the AAPA Review Panel and is compliant with AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for 3.00 AAPA Category 1 CME credits and in compliance with Florida Statutes, Chapter 458, regarding the safe prescribing of controlled substances.

Instructions for Earning Credits:

The learner must complete all of the following to earn 3 continuing education hours:
View/listen to the two courses in their entirety (2 hours)
Review the supplied supporting material (30 minutes)
Complete 30 evaluation questions with a passing score of >70% (15 minutes)
Complete the required assessment (15 minutes)

The course is offered to all Physician Assistants in Florida.
