While we all wish to have professionally staged vacant homes, that is not the reality of today’s market. Instead we often have the foreclosure with the trash of the former occupants littered through out the house, or the couple whose collection of knick knacks is featured in the Guinness Book of World Records. But, one of the worst scenarios we can face as a listing agent is a property occupied with renters!
Renters are often a means to an end. Many times they keep the owner from losing the property to foreclosure or falling into disrepair. But, in virtually all cases, these renters know your job is to take away their home.
