She holds a PhD from the University of Virginia and did her post doctoral training at Johns Hopkins. She cares for patients with all types of immunodeficiencies, currently prescribing immunoglobulin replacement therapy for nearly 500 patients. Dr. Younger is a member of AAAAI, serving on the Primary Immunodeficiencies Committee; the Clinical Immunology Society; the International Nursing Group for Immunodeficiencies and serves on the Immune Deficiency Foundation Nursing Advisory Committee, of which she has been the vice chair and chair. She has published widely in professional journals and written multiple book chapters on immunodeficiencies. She speaks nationally and internationally. She also engages and participates in clinical research studies on immunoglobulin replacement therapy and care of patients with immnodeficiencies.
