Events 101- The Basics

The Events module in GrowthZone is designed to be your home base for everything event-related. With the module, you can manage every aspect of an event from global default settings, calendar setup, event creation, registration customization, invitations and communications, invoicing and payments, event registration and check in, and reporting.

After completing this course the student will be able to:

  • Find and use the global default settings for events
  • Create and modify calendars
  • Create an event from scratch OR by copying an existing event
  • View and modify event details
  • Set overall registration options
  • Create member and nonmember registration using the various registration types
  • Use custom fields in an event
  • Set up discounts
  • Provide options additional items for purchase
  • Customize event instructions and messaging
