Alfredo Morabia, MD, PhD
Alfredo Morabia is a Swiss American doctor, epidemiologist and historian. He is currently professor of epidemiology at the Barry Commoner Center for Health and the Environment at Queens College, City University of New York. He is the Principal Investigator of the World Trade Center-Heart cohort study, and he lectures and teaches on the history of epidemiology internationally in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian. He also serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the American Journal of Public Health and is also editor of "Epidemiology in History" in the American Journal of Epidemiology and was supported by the National Library of Medicine to write about the history of epidemiology.

Lisa Bowleg, PhD, is Professor of Applied Social Psychology in
the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at The George Washington
University, and Founding
Director of the Intersectionality Training Institute at GW. Her
research focuses on the intersectional and social-structural contexts of health
for Black heterosexual men and Black LGBT communities. She is an
associate editor of the American Journal of Public Health and the
section editor of AJPH ’s Perspectives
from the Social Sciences .

Sandro Galea, MD, MPH, DrPH, Professor and Dean, Boston University School of Public Health
Galea is an academic leader, physician, epidemiologist and author. He was named one of Time magazine’s epidemiology innovators and has been listed as one of the "World’s Most Influential Scientific Minds." He's published more than 800 scientific journal articles, 50 chapters and 15 books extensively about the social causes of health, mental health, and the consequences of trauma. Galea's latest book is "Well: What We Need to Talk About When We Talk About Health." He's an elected member of the National Academy of Medicine and chair of the Board of the Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health. Galea has received several lifetime achievement awards and his work is regularly featured in a range of public media, including a standing column in Fortune magazine.
Nancy Krieger, PhD
Nancy Krieger is
Professor of Social Epidemiology and American Cancer Society Clinical Research
Professor, in the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences at the Harvard
T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and Director of the HSPH Interdisciplinary
Concentration on Women, Gender, and Health. She received her PhD in
Epidemiology from the University of California at Berkeley in 1989. Krieger
is a social epidemiologist, with a background in biochemistry, philosophy of
science, and the history of public health, combined over 35 years of experience
as an activist in issues involving social justice, science, and health. She has
been deeply engaged with issues of COVID-19 and health equity (see, for
