This webinar provides a brief introduction to HL7 International, the non-profit ANSI-accredited standards organization that for over 30 years has been transforming healthcare through advancing interoperability. The main focus will be a non-technical overview of HL7’s most recent standard HL7 FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources), a standard that has ignited the transformation of the digital healthcare development ecosystem. Community involvement in development of the standard will also be highlighted.
