This introductory-level, hands-on course will consist of practical activities teaching basic HL7 FHIR concepts. Learn to navigate the FHIR specifications to explore those basics. Then, create and update FHIR resources, execute FHIR Queries, post FHIR Transactions and extend the standard resources with additional information (extensions).

Upon Completion of This Class, Participants Will Be Able To:

• Create and extend any FHIR resource
• Navigate the HL7 FHIR standards specifications
• Perform basic queries and understand all components of the FHIR transaction
