This symposium is intended to highlight different training opportunities at dental institutions for U.S. and international trainees. A number of integrated training programs are offered at U.S. dental institutes supported through National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial (NIDCR) T-32 or T-90 institution training programs. This workshop will explore the contrasting training formats at several funded programs exploring their challenges and successes. The workshop will be structured as a panel discussion with three panelists who serve as directors of these programs and leaders who have extensive backgrounds in training opportunities. Each panelist will briefly introduce the expectations and opportunities for their programs followed with open panel discussions and questions from the audience.
