Now based in Madison, Mississippi, USA, Ed Katz offers training programs and seminars in office moving and project management methods, techniques, and business practices through the International Office Moving, the International Office Moving Institute (IOMI®).
In 2018, IOMI® counts Certified Office Movers® in 36 states plus Washington, DC, Canada, Southeast Asia, the UK, and Australia. That means that all key employees at every branch of the world’s largest agents, van lines, and independents have successfully completed training and earned the right to call themselves IOMI® Certified Office Movers®.
In early 2008, IOMI® proudly partnered with Georgia Highlands College, a unit of the University System of Georgia in Cartersville, to award Continuing Education Credits for Certified Office Mover® and Certified Project Manager® training when held at the Cartersville campus.
Dubbed the “world’s only university of office moving,” IOMI® is dedicated to raising the moving industry’s image by educating both professionals and consumers. IOMI® is neither a trade association nor a moving company or an affiliate, but an independent, unbiased training organization beholden to no one.
