Thank you

This live web event has ended. Thank you for attending.

Description

Learn from 2 seasoned Vocational Consultants and Life Care Planners on the 3 Ws (Who, Why, and hoW) for including vocational considerations in your Life Care Plans. Life care planning methodology emphasizes having foundation for recommendations in a Life Care Plan, but often there is no vocational consultation to provide recommendations for vocational or productive activity for an evaluee. Designed primarily for the non-vocational life care planner, all attendees will learn how and why adding recommendations for vocational services in a life care plan, as applicable, not only is consistent with the categories for life care plan development, but will make your life care plans more comprehensive and robust. Attend this presentation and learn practical, applicable, and useful knowledge and resources, including case examples, checklists, and reading materials on the methodology for including vocational considerations in life care planning.

Learning Objectives

1. Participants will be able to learn WHY vocational considerations were specifically added to the original life care plan methodology and under whose scope of practice does it fall?

2. Participants will be able to know WHEN to suggest to the referral source that a vocational expert is needed and WHO to consult.

3. Participants will be able to understand HOW obtaining vocational recommendations can be relevant for life care planning, including avocational and/or productive activity recommendations.

4. Participants will gain additional knowledge in contemporary themes for vocational implications, including the RAPEL and PEEDSRAPEL methodology as an additional take-away.
