  1. Describe the basic eligibility to become a Social Security Vocational Expert Social Security Disability sequential evaluation process and the critical role of the VE.
  2. Explain the scope of vocational experience requirements and the steps involved to meet qualifications to become an SSVE as a federal contractor.
  3. Identify opportunities to incorporate SSVE services into their vocational practice.

  • Jessica Bohne, M. Ed, CRC, CVE

    Jessica Bohne has extensive professional experience as a vocational rehabilitation counselor, expert witness, and vocational evaluator. She holds a master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling as well as CRC and CVE credentials. She began working as an SSVE in 2017 and has testified in thousands of social security disability hearings as a vocational expert witness. Jessica has also been retained for her diverse expertise on multiple family law, disability insurance, and industrial injury cases in the state of California and has volunteered as an executive board member with the IARP California chapter since 2021.
