[No CEs] This program will allow the attendee to walk away with a solid foundation of knowledge in the most common visual impairments and appropriate assessment and employment accommodations. The program provides a firm stepping stone for proactive and creative planning in the creation and implementation of a rehabilitation plan.
Objectives

1. Describe the history of legislation related to vision rehabilitation, evolution and modern implementation
2. Explain common visual impairments and their vocational implications
3. Illustrate challenges and assessment accommodations in evaluating persons with visual impairments
