Ethical Issues in Multicultural Rehabilitation Practice

[No CEs] This webinar will provide the professional with an understanding of ethical issues in multicultural rehabilitation practice. We will explore terms and language used in ethics and multiculturalism as well as competencies in working in a multicultural practice setting with any population. Case studies will depict different concepts throughout the webinar. Exploring the fastest-growing ethnic population in the United States, participants will learn about the results of recent research among private sector rehabilitation professionals involving ethical issues with Hispanic/Latino immigrant workers and undocumented immigrants.

Educational Objectives:

At the conclusion of this program participants will be able to:

  1. Explain issues of multiculturalism in rehabilitation counseling.
  2. Demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and competencies needed by rehabilitation counselors in the private sector as helping professionals to facilitate client empowerment
  3. Inspect case studies with the use of these multicultural knowledge, skills, and competencies.
