Tools of the Trade: Using Testing Statistics to Select and Interpret Tests

[No CEs] A statistic summarizes a characteristic about a set of data and tells a story. That story is only as good as the test chosen for a client and the administration of that test. This session reviews factors that contribute to selecting appropriate test(s) and influence interpretation. This program uses interactive case examples to overview the role and function of testing and statistics. Participants will learn how they can improve their use of tests and test interpretation to make decisions about training options and employability. They will also increase their understanding of how to avoid using misleading results.
