Programs seeking reaccreditation under the NCCA and/or ISO /IEC:17024 Standards face a variety of challenges. Whether seeking accreditation for the first time or the fifth time, changes in standards, evolving interpretations, program staff turnover, and other factors all impact the process. Approaching reaccreditation with an in-depth understanding of the requirements, a clear project plan, and a realistic timeline makes the process more effective, more efficient, less disruptive, and increase the probability of a successful outcome. This webinar will present tips for project planning and review common challenges faced by programs seeking re-accreditation.

    After working with clients across dozens of industries to develop their certification programs, Janice firmly believes that accreditation standards are an effective framework for improvement. Her understanding of the application and interpretation of accreditation standards and the workings of the NCCA, ANAB, and ABSNC accrediting processes is evident in the more than 280 successful accreditation applications submitted by SeaCrest. Janice serves as a strategic planning partner to evaluate and improve clients’ major program areas helping set goals, assess feasibility, develop strong governance foundations, facilitate policy development, and design quality management programs.

  • Ellen Julian, PhD

    Dr. Ellen Julian is a psychometrician who helped computerize several large examination programs and developed a variety of innovative item types. After years in testing-program management, she is returning to her roots by building a psychometric consulting service, Julian Consulting, to help certification programs improve their examinations with sound advice, data analyses, and meeting facilitation.
