This webcast discusses how the US Army is using Sports Nutrition Research to enhance performance of the US military. It will provide an overview of what macronutrients are any why they are important as well as discuss the past, current, and future directives of military nutrition. Anyone with an interest in optimizing performance using nutrition will gain a thorough understanding of how the United States government is doing this.

Learning Objectives:

1. Attendees will be able to define macronutrients and their role in sports nutrition.
2. Attendees will gain a better understanding of the macronutrient requirements for high physical activity and be able to apply this information to their own research.
3. Attendees will learn what the future of sports nutrition research is within the military. This information will be able to help determine the future of other product and process development within the industry.
