Invite opposing counsel to coffee and talk about something other than your case. Or praise them: in private, in front of a client, in front of other attorneys. In some form or another, show some professional love for someone in the other camp. If you’re a judge, maybe suggest participation from the people you feel might benefit the most from this exercise?
Proof ideas: a selfie at the coffee shop, a screen shot of your invitation being accepted, a picture of a heartfelt handshake at the end of a long trial…
