Mentoring Month Inspiration: "Lawyer as Mentor" Story

Joshua Levine and Joryn JenkinsGet inspired just like Joshua and Joryn!

Joryn Jenkins
is an attorney who was a founding member of the J. Clifford Cheatwood American Inn of Court in Tampa, FL thirty-two years ago. As someone at the top of her 40+ year career, she is very familiar with mentoring attorneys ("I mentor all the time!").

When she learned about the American Inns of Court’s Mentoring Month, she was inspired to ask her employees to share what mentoring means to them. Joshua Levine, a recent college grad working with Joryn while he applies to law schools, tells a story about how a terrible situation fueled his first experience mentoring others, and how mentoring inspired and underpins his own desire to practice the law.
