Using the ABA's Model Rules as a foundation, this course presentation is a discussion of remote lawyering which has only grown since the Pandemic: although many are returning to the office, the reality is that many lawyers (and some judges!) prefer to work from home. This paradigm shift requires an accounting of the ethical and disciplinary rules that apply to remote work, such as: client communications, control and safeguarding of data and information and technology.
