Steven J. Schmidt
Steve Schmidt is the Director of the Criminal Clinic and teaches Trial Advocacy at the University of Nebraska College of Law.
Prior to that he was a Deputy County Attorney at the Lancaster County Attorneys Office in Lincoln, NE where he prosecuted everything from misdemeanors to homicides. Before his legal career, he was an infantry officer in the United States Marine Corps. He and his wife Rachel have four sons. They enjoy many outdoor activities and spoiling their first grandchild.
