OBJECTIVE: Reinforce the need for a
convention for the rights of older persons, with a focus on those with mental
health conditions and psychosocial disability

- Inform mental health professionals around the world about the need for a UN convention for rights of older persons
- Engage IPA and WPA at the global rights advocacy movement at Global Alliance for Rights of Older People (GAROP)
