(Jerry) Kane is a Professor of Information Systems at Boston College’s Carroll School of Management. He is also the Guest Editor for Digital Business at MIT-Sloan Management Review, where he researches and writes regularly on how digital technologies are changing organizations and business strategy, and a Senior Editor at MIS Quarterly. Prof. Kane’s research interests include exploring digital disruption and transformation, the organizational applications and implications of social media, and the role of information systems in social networks.
