Course 213 - Conflict Management presents specific strategies for reaching collaborative solutions and minimizing negative aspects of conflict while maximizing benefits of resolving conflict.

The course is intended for all right of way agents who want to learn more about
successful conflict resolution.

There are no prerequisites.

At the conclusion of the day, you will be able to understand the following
objectives:
  • Define conflict, discuss its sources and consequences.
  • Implement several different conflict management strategies and tactics.
  • Discuss ways to reduce or eliminate conflict.
  • Implement a conflict management action plan.

  • Industry: A core course that is required for all 4 pathways in the RWA program.
  • Specialist: An elective for the R/W-AMC, R/W-EC, R/W-NAC programs.
